Best Mexican Food in La Mesa

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff here. my aunt and i come every few weeks, the food is absolutely delicious, the drinks are amazing, but the service is what’s made us regulars. everyone here is truly so kind and generous and attentive, they make you feel like family. delicious carne asada, tortillas, and horchata.

If you love fajitas, you must go to Finca Casa Blanca! All of their food is good, but consistently over the years, we have been very impressed by their fajitas. Only once were they just "very good", the rest of the time, they're GREAT. Our favorite is the surf & turf with steak and shrimp. When you arrive, Maria (who makes the tortillas and weekend brunch) brings you hot corn tortillas with butter on the side. Just like my husband remembers his aunt making for them. Checked this place out after a hike and wow. Great service and the portions are more than fair. I had the ranchero burrito my friend had the enchiladas and both were amazing on flavor and presentation. My soda cup was never empty for long and everyone there was super nice. The salsa and chips on the house were a nice added touch. Will be coming back for the breakfast menu.

Visited for the first time last December. A longtime patron of the place praised it as we walked in. Colorful cultural decor. Chips and sauce complimentary.
